EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT will take place on Friday Next, February 3, First Friday of the Month from 10.30 a.m. to 7.15 p.m.
ST. PIO (PADRE PIO) DEVOTIONS: Friday, February 3 in the Sacred Heart Church, Seabury. Eucharistic Adoration at 7 p.m., Mass 7.30 p.m. celebrated by a Capuchin Priest, who will give a Blessing with a Relic of St. Pio. All are welcome.
FIRST THURSDAY of the month February 2 there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Evening Prayer, Rosary and prayers for priests from 8.00-9.15 p.m.
EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS: Parishioners, by way of preparation for the upcoming Eucharistic Congress (Next June 10 to 17 in Dublin), are invited to a conference in All Hallows College, Drumcondra organised by Crosscare on February 28 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Free of Charge.
LÁ FHÉILE BRÍDE: People from the Parishes of St. Sylvester, Portmarnock, Kinsealy and Yellow Walls are invited to celebrate the Feast of St. Brigid with prayer, song and dance on February 1 at 7 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, Yellow Walls, Malahide. Refreshments after.
EPIPHANY GIFTS: The three charities express their most grateful thanks for the generous supply of gifts donated by parishioners.
MALAHIDE LADIES CLUB: will meet on Wednesday next, February 1 at 8 p.m. in the Grand Hotel. There will be a presentation from the Citizens’ Advice Bureau on Rights and Entitlements. Visitors welcome.
AMEN: Support group meetings for men who suffer domestic abuse or are going through a separation. Issues covered – stress, anxiety, anger, grief and new beginnings. Details: 046 9023718.
MALAHIDE MINDFULNESS GROUP meet every Monday from 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Parish Centre. Donations for room rental welcome.
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY thanks the parishioners for their outstanding response to their recent Annual Clothing Appeal.
MALAHIDE SCRABBLE CLUB meet on the second Wednesday of every month in Malahide Library from 6.30 p.m. to 8.15 p.m. (Bring Scrabble Dictionary and board if you have them).
THE SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL thanks all who contributed to the recent monthly Church gate collection. The amount realised was €2,270.
UNWANTED SPECTACLES: Malahide Lions Club is collecting unwanted spectacles for distribution in developing countries. These can mean the difference for some children/adults in getting either an education or employment or not. A box will be placed at the back of the church as a collection point for the month of February.
JUNIOR INFANTS: Anyone who intends to send a child (children) to St. Oliver Plunkett Junior School, Malahide this September should contact the school office (8452052) for information or an application form. All applications must be in by Tuesday, January, 31, 2012.
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL charity shop: Due to popular demand the shop in Malahide will have more frequent Designer Sales during 2012. The next sale will take place on Saturday, February 4 from 12 noon.
YOUNG PEOPLE’S MASS (12-18 years) beginning on Saturday, February 4 at 6.30 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Yellow Walls - Readers/Musicians/Singer/Gift Bearers. All welcome.
